The Most Realistic Dice Roller Ever

True Dice Roller is the only dice simulator that mirrors quirks in dice balance that mirror real world dice bought from shops or online.

Your Dice Are Unique

Upon first launching the app, each dice set is assigned a random, subtle, but realistic offset in the center of gravity that means your dice a just slightly different from anyone else's.

Some are perfectly balanced. Most are slightly off center. A few may be as off kilter as the wildest of designer dice (for worse...or for better)!  Find your favorite set!

FEATURES

- Optional Perfect Balance. Dice results are based on actual physics, and dice can optionally be set to all roll with perfect casino-worthy balance.

- 60+ Dice Sets.  A vast array of dice sets from colored plastic to polished obsidian to solid gold.

- Dice Analytics. Display session graphs and roll averages for any dice in your tray.

- Fast and Intuitive. TDR is designed to be at least as fast and intuitive as real dice.

- Auto Math. Automatically sums dice results, add modifiers with a button press.

- True Materials and Sounds. Realistic, hand recorded sound effects and altered physics based on material, such as glass, plastic or metal.

- Widely Compatible. Show the sum of all rolled dice or show each dice result separately based on your needs, making TDR compatible with any tabletop game that uses standard dice (d20s, d6s, d10s, percentile dice, etc).

This includes classics like D&D, Call of Cthulu or Vampire the Masquerade as well as newer games like Shadowdark, Daggerheart, or Draw Steel!

Advanced Features

- Custom Dice Templates. Save up to four configurations of your favorite dice.

(NOTE: Saving may not work on mobile devices. On mobile browsers like Safari, the browser may delete save data when the browser closes. Enabling "Allow Cross Site Tracking" will prevent the browser from deleting saves, but at the cost of personal privacy.)

- Advanced Dice Calculator. An advanced tool for GMs. For maximum speed, use a digital-only dice calculator that can calculate and add huge numbers of dice (if you need 100d6 damage, for example), or roll up to 50 checks against a target number at once (in case of needlessly large numbers of enemies or attacks). Numpad inputs make for extremely fluid usage. Also, you can roll nonstandard dice types, such as a d3 or a d500, useful for "funky dice" or large rollable charts.

(Stats For Nerds)

Dice assigned a perfect balance have been tested via 1000 rolls with a resulting p value of ~0.5, varying based on different trials.

A p value of 0.025 for most of the many different "slightly unbalanced" dice configurations, inspired by the results of 1000 rolls I made by hand with a generic store bought d20.

The rarest but most unbalanced configuration a dice set can be assigned usually results in a p value around 0.0014 after 1000 rolls.

Dice use real physics, taking spin and force of the roll into account, but to prevent the ability to deterministically get a repeated result (since rolling exactly the same way is much easier digitally), dice rotation is randomized at the start of a roll using Quaternion randomization.

Also shout out to the plastic store dice I rolled 1000 times by hand in real life to measure their balance.
